Even though second home owners pay taxes and often use less than their pro rata proportion of services, they can now be denied the right to vote at local elections. Although probably intended to catch out absentee landlords it is clear that a few innocents will lose out too. The deadline for returning the forms was 18th November, PDC will respond to each submission and, if successful, you will appear on the new register from December. If your request for a vote is rejected please contact us and we will help you appeal, stressing your integration in the community or you can apply again.
